Local charity The Travers Foundation is teaming up with The Core at Corby Cube to create ‘Living Your Dream’, a fabulous evening of high-quality entertainment featuring some of the talented young sports people and artists supported by the charity.
The fundraising event was due to take place on Friday 1st May, but due to the Global Pandemic we have experienced this year this event will be rescheduled to a later date.
We are happy to announce that we are sponsoring ‘Living Your Dream’.

The Travers Foundation helps young people aged between 13 and 30 living in Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Rutland with funding to realise their dreams in sport, music and arts.
The opportunity to produce this fantastic event gives the members of the Youth Advisory Panel the opportunity to refine their existing theatre production skills as well as to build on their programming and technical skills.

Terry Forsey, Chairman of The Travers Foundation, said:
“‘Living Your Dream’ is our prestigious showcase fundraiser, the pinnacle of all our planned events for 2020. This is our opportunity to highlight to the local community, who so generously supports us, the varied skills the young people we support have, and also raises much needed funds in order that we can continue our work.
“Having The Core at Corby Cube’s Youth Advisory Panel working with us adds a whole new dimension to our event – their input is invaluable, their enthusiasm unparalleled, and we are delighted that they’ve agreed to help us. It’s also a sterling example of young people helping other young people.
“We would also like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you to Matthew and Kirsty Ross of M R Industrial Services Ltd of Corby, who are the corporate sponsors of this event.”

Joe Flavin, Director of The Core at Corby Cube, added:
“The team at The Core at Corby Cube are delighted to be working alongside The Travers Foundation, creating a fantastic evening showcasing top quality talent from the worlds of the arts and sports.
“The Youth Advisory Panel, under our guidance, work incredibly hard and will provide their unique, youthful perspective. We are very much looking forward to seeing the end result.”
