Last week Winvic handed over Magdalen Street, which is a 252-bed student accommodation block in Colchester. We are extremely proud of the work that we completed on this job as we managed to safely work through a pandemic and met our client’s expectations.
We completed the following work on site:
3 Staircases which consisted of 3 floors of handrails and balustrade which was mild steel painted with Marley handrail
Bespoke designed and fabricated of 0.74kn balustrade/fencing to the front of block A & C – 90lm with 2 self-closing gates
Bespoke Designed and Fabricated of 1.5kn balustrade/fencing to the rear of block A – 30lm with 1 self-closing gate
Framework and GRP flooring to the control pit
Laser-cut edge stainless steel sign to explain the locations history
Restore & fit railway tracks to the front entrance yard to be used as a feature design to show the history of the area
Numerous door steels
Temporary roof protection works
Ball & rail handrail to the rear garden area
